KYRA DAVIS
Hey, I'm Kyra.
I'm a graphic designer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. I specialize in motion graphics, illustration, and vector graphics.
Over the past several months, I have worked on several different personal projects, as well as a couple client projects.
My personal work has mostly been focused on animation, and is featured on my motion graphics page. I also created my own short comic called Star Player, which you can read here.​
I worked with @drewdavisphotos on Instagram to create a profile picture for his photography page, which you can find here.
I also briefly worked with Waldo’s Muttley Crew, a small group working on finding shelter dogs forever homes in the Indy area.
I graduated from Ball State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. During my time there, I had two internships, and was also a member of Studio 165+, a student-led design group.
My first internship was with a broadband service provider named Calix. At Calix I worked on several different projects, including designing the layout for an installation manual, creating personas for a marketing campaign, creating static and motion graphic social media post templates, and more.
My second internship was at Ball State’s career center. As the marketing assistant, I worked on a variety of projects, from taking photos for events to creating animated reels for Instagram. The creative freedom I had on projects helped me develop my passion for motion graphics.
I am a designer who enjoys working in many different mediums and can adapt to new programs and methods quickly. I love being able to express myself creatively and enjoy a challenging project.
